There are very limited options for the C6 platform when it comes to adding an external fuel filter kit. The C6 Corvette was designed with a fuel filter that was integrated into the fuel pump sending unit and was designed to last the lifetime of the vehicle, or fuel pump, whichever occurred first. The issue arises when many enthusiasts switch to E85 fuel for their build. The problem is that the stock fuel filter is not compatible with E85.
This is where the Silas's Auto Auxiliary Fuel Filter kit steps in. It will connect directly to the factory fuel tank output with high quality AN fittings and PTFE lined stainless steel braided hose. It also utilizes a 10 micron Microglass fuel filter that is E85 safe. This will save you from costly repairs to your expensive fuel injectors.
This kit will include everything needed to run a new feed line, with filter, from your factory connection at the fuel tank, to the factory connection at the fuel rail. It will come fully assembled, and ready to install. It will bypass the factory fuel feed line completely, and run a larger -8 AN (1/2") all the way to the fuel rail.
